English Language Academy Sliema

English Language Academy (ELA) is a small English school located in Sliema on the Maltese coast. With a family atmosphere and dedicated, qualified teachers, the school has been providing excellent English courses for students of all ages (from as young as four) since 1988. In addition to standard group and private courses, ELA offers courses focused on exam preparation or business English or that combine English lessons with activities, such as diving and dancing. The school also offers separate programs for children and teenagers all year round. 

The main school is spread over six floors of a modern air-conditioned building in the centre of the city, with a separate building for some junior courses a short walk away. This building is called the teen annex and is only used for courses for 13-18 year olds during the summer. It features a games room, theatre and large playground. Students at ELA have access to a nearby private beach. 

The school organizes an activity program to complement your English lessons. This changes throughout the year and there are different options for adults and under 18s, but it may include city tours, horse riding, scuba diving, beach trips, sports tournaments and wine tasting. Every Monday, there is a free welcome party for all students aged 16 or over.
