School of English Edinburgh

Our partner school, the Edinburgh School of English, is located on the historically significant Royal Mile, housed in an old church dating back to 1820. The exterior of the school exudes the historical style of the city, however the interiors have been fully remodeled to accommodate the modern language school.

The school is located on the Royal Mile, the street which connects Edinburgh Castle with Holyroodhouse Palace. This location is in the heart of the city where there is plenty to keep students entertained after they finish their classes for the day.

The school’s learning methodology focuses on speaking through a structured framework which has been developed since the schools opening over 40 years ago. All teachers hold a university degree and a CELTA diploma (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults).
