Embassy San Francisco

Embassy is one of the most well-known English language school chains, with more than 40 years of experience. Embassy offers courses and associated study materials for all parts of the learning process including grammar, listening, and communication, to prepare students for their use of English in their everyday life.  

The long term courses offered by Embassy are ideal for learning English in an intensive manner over a longer period. Programs with Embassy are unique in that they can be taken over a period of time at different school locations, not only the school in San Francisco, but also those in Los Angeles, Boston, New York and San Diego, as each school uses the same teacher philosophy and methods.

The San Francisco Embassy school is located in Union Square, the most famous shopping destination in San Francisco, close to the Museum of Modern Art, the Ferry Building and the sea. Just a few steps from the school is the Powell Street BART Station and MUNI light rail. From here you can take either of the public transport modes to get around the city at ease. The school has well lit ample space, thanks to the many windows which let in natural light and allow for a view towards Downtown.

The Embassy group organize a weekly program of activities including group excursions downtown, dance courses and movie nights, all of which are either included in course program fee or are available at an affordable price. The team will also be more than happy to help students organize their own activities to help them discover the city in their spare time.

All Embassy professors are educated with a university degree and a CELTA Certificate (Certificate in English Language to Adults) or equivalent.
