Lyon Bleu offers a wide variety of programs to improve your French, including group courses combined with private lessons or activities, as well as special courses to prepare you for an exam or to help you succeed in business. With a fantastic central location, students will also have plenty of opportunities to explore the city of Lyon after their classes.
Located in the city centre, only five minutes from the beautiful Parc de la Tête d'Or, the school is housed in a historical twentieth-century building and surrounded by many cafes and restaurants.
All of the schools’ teachers have a university degree and experience teaching French as a foreign language. They use modern and interactive teaching methods to ensure you make rapid progress and also have fun!
During your free time you can take advantage of the schools activity program. This may include tours of the city, museum trips, yoga or dance classes, trips to the fun fair and attending local festivals.

Lyon Bleu Lyon - Alma
I am positively surprised by how much I liked Lyon. It was a great trip. My host mother was very nice and caring and I can only recommend everyone to stay with a host family.
The school was easy to reach by foot and one can go anywhere by metro. The school is very small but I liked it a lot there. The teachers are great and it was interesting to meet people from all over the world and speak French with them. The two weeks flew by.
I will recommend Yalea because I got very great advice.

Sabina and I absolutely loved Lyon Blue. The teachers were very competent, passionate and motivating. Sabina took private lessons and was very impressed by the care that was taken in these classes. The students were an interesting mix of different nationalities: Swiss, German, Brazilian, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Swedish, Turkish…
The school also offered some extras, such as workshops, that were great. There were extra things going on every day, sometimes for free - again, all great. Of course, we took part in what we could.
We also really liked Lyon – a dream destination. So all in all, thumbs up from us for the trip and for Yalea.
