DID Berlin, located in the centre of Berlin, offers a variety of courses to ensure there is something to suit every students’ requirements. The school has a modern, relaxed atmosphere and ensures that you are completely immersed in German language and culture during your stay.
DID Berlin is spread over two floors of a traditional building, just 5 minutes walk from Oranienburger Tor metro station. In the area there are plenty of bars, cafes and trendy shops.
DID knows that its teachers are its biggest asset, so they only employ those who are native speakers with university degrees and specific training to teach German as a foreign language. Furthermore, many of the teachers have also studied or worked abroad so they have personal experience of a number of different cultures.
Each week, the DID team organizes a variety of extra-curricular activities. These include walking tours, trips to Potsdam, sports and visits to local markets. The school can also help you to plan longer excursions, such as to Dresden, for your weekends.

DID Deutsch Institut Berlin - Luana
Berlin was fantastic! I spent two months there but I would have liked to have been there for 12 months! Great welcome from the school, teachers available to assist me and a choice of classes.
In terms of the host family, unfortunately the house was far away and access to public transport was not very convenient, but I was not alone: there was also a Slovak girl of my age staying there who I got on really well with. We have even planned to meet again next summer. And as for my German, well there is nothing like being completely immersed :)
Basically I had two extraordinary months full of discoveries, encounters and experiences.
