Expanish Buenos Aires

Founded in 2006, Expanish combines high quality Spanish language courses with an authentic Argentinian cultural experience. The school's combination of great teachers, modern facilities and extra-curricular cultural activities will ensure you get the most out of you language course in Buenos Aires. All Expanish teachers have a university diploma and are experienced teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Expanish offers a variety of Spanish courses with different numbers of hours per week, enabling you to learn intensively or to have more free time to explore the city, as you prefer. The school also offers a course combining standard Spanish lessons with cultural classes to enable you to learn more about Latin American culture, traditions, history and art.

Expanish is located in central Buenos Aires, just a short walk from the city's main square, Plaza de Mayo, and five blocks from the iconic Obelisco. Many of the city's major sights, as well as plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants, are within walking distance. The school is found on the fourth floor of a 1920s building on a pedestrianized street lined with cafes and bars. It was completely renovated and redesigned in 2014 so all the facilities are modern and attractively decorated. There are plenty of colorful spaces for students to relax and socialize in before and after their classes.

The Expanish staff organizes an activity programme that includes walking tours, salsa and tango lessons, concerts, wine tasting, history workshops, weekend excursions to Mendoza or Iguazú and film nights. Some of these activities are free and others are offered at a reduced price. All Expanish teachers have a university diploma and are experienced teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
